This silicone Urethra Bowl pessary may also be used on patients who suffer stress urinary incontinence. The pelvic floor acts as a support for this pessary. The knob supports the bladder neck.
If patients are changing from a ring or bowl to a urethra bowl, please take 13mm extra to allow for the 'knob'
Clean the pessary with warm water. Autoclaving or boiling can be also effective .
